As stated previously I have volunteered at a local dog rescue centre for over a decade.  I usually visit once a week and walk the dogs around a half mile woodland circuit.  My current dog was from the Dogs Home and I have also helped out several others in my time there, as follows:

We looked after Lennie the Boxer for a weekend and gave feedback on his behaviour to the Dogs Home to help in his rehoming.

Buster, a Staffie Cross was a friendly dog but he never did himself any favours as he always jumped around in his kennel and barked a lot.  He spent the weekend with us and we wrote a complimentary report on him and he was rehomed about a week later.
